No with 2 hero's only it is happy-ish compromise for YOU...some cannot get 8 ppl together all the time to GvG and need to use 3 or 4. If you can't beat a team with hero's then you need to practice...as for HA don't matter to me since I never go there so change that all you want

If you can't get 8 people for gvg, join a pvp alliance or use your friends list. It isn't the use of heroes that you are describing that I have an issue with however. Its the blantant abuse of heroes AI with hexes and minions in particular that gets me annoyed.

Instead of trying to gimp heroes AI (which in most other cases is awful), removing them from play altogether is probably the best solution. Maybe they could allow you the henchmen available in PvE instead of the current choices to give you a better range with slightly better skill bars but I don't believe heroes belong in what is meant to be a Player vs Player team game.

Three isn't enough heroes. The NPCs aren't fun. Such as Alesia. I think it would be awesome to GvG with 7 heroes.

Ban heroes from any form of PvP. Its called Person Versus Person for a reason.

If your guild has not enough people to play gvg, find some new friends or use your friendslist to ask people to quest for ya.
If you dont like to play HA with humans aka pugs then dont play it. You can also play TA or RA.

Heroes belong to PvE or HB point. no discussion.
But thats just my view.
